Leviticus in 7 Days

This entry is part 11 of 12 in the series 2025 Bible Plan

I have read the Bible in a year several times and always found it to be a rewarding experience. I’m a strong advocate for this spiritual discipline. That said, I’ve also started and failed to finish the Bible in a year more times than I can count. It’s no secret that certain books—like Leviticus—can be difficult to get through. Many people find the daily readings repetitive or unengaging, and as the weeks go by, they stop reading and never complete their goal.

Leviticus, like some other parts of the Bible, is challenging to engage with devotionally because of its genre. It is a book of priestly laws and regulations, written for a society very different from ours. If you find yourself struggling to keep up with daily readings while going through Leviticus, this 7-day reading plan highlights key chapters to give you a big-picture view of the different areas of ancient law. I’ve also included journal prompts to help you reflect, connect, and engage more deeply with the text.

As we say at the church, “God speaks to us through the reading of the Scripture – thanks be to God!”
